In a significant stride towards enhancing connectivity and accessibility, the Indian Railways launched Mumbai-Jalna Vande Bharat train service today (December 30), marking a momentous occasion for rail travelers in the region.
The inauguration of the train services too place through a video conferencing ceremony, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi leading the event. Minister of State for Railways, Raosaheb Danve, were also present at the inauguration ceremony in Jalna, underlining the importance of this new rail link.

The strategically planned halts at key stations such as Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (formerly Aurangabad), Manmad, Nashik Road, Kalyan, Thane, and Dadar ensure that the train caters to the needs of diverse communities and regions.

The journey of the Vande Bharat Express is meticulously designed to optimise travel time and convenience for passengers. Departing from Jalna at 5:05 am, the train is scheduled to reach the bustling Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) by 11:55 am, allowing for a swift and efficient travel experience. The return leg of the journey sees the train departing from CSMT at 1:10 pm, with an anticipated arrival in Jalna at 8:30 pm.
