Oppo Find N was launched in China on Wednesday, December 15th, 2021. This is Oppo’s first folding phone. The company says that the Find N is the result of four years of R&D and six generations of prototypes. Oppo claims that its engineers have been able to build “perhaps the best hinge and display designs available today.” The hinge mechanism and the folding display tech has been designed in such a way that it solves some of the major pain points seen in current gen folding devices like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3. Moreover, a lot of effort has gone in making the size and form factor easy to use. Here’s a closer look at the Oppo Find N, its specs, features, price, and everything you need to know. The Find N has a “Flexion” hinge with a water-drop design. Oppo says the custom hinge, which is made of 136 components, helps minimise the crease and eliminate the gap between the displays when folded. The inner folding display has twelve layers including a 0.03 mm layer of Flexion UTG (ultra-thin glass). Oppo claims it can be folded over 200,000 times. (Photo credit: Oppo)

Oppo has opted for a more landscape look with its foldable. The body is made of curved Corning Gorilla Glass Victus with the main camera island on the back using ceramic. The inner screen is 7.1-inch and has an aspect ratio of 8.4:9. The cover display is 5.49-inch with an 18:9 aspect ratio. Oppo is using an LTPO display on the inner screen with up to 120Hz refresh rate support. It has a touch sampling rate of up to 1,000Hz. Both screens can pull 1,000nits. (Photo credit: Oppo)
