When there is a full moon and at the same time the moon closer to Earth than usual, then it is called a supermoon. The closer proximity to Earth can make the moon appear slightly bigger and brighter. July 14’s full moon was the “Buck moon” — a reference to the time of year when new antlers are growing on male deer, or bucks. Let us take a look at some of the stunning photos from across the world:
